Here you go, a requested episode on labs, optimal lab values, lab scenarios, what should you be looking for in YOUR lab results and what are the red flags? When certain thyroid lab combinations present, how should that individual be treated? I have said before many times that treating the thyroid is a very nuanced art. It is not as easy as conventional medicine makes it seem. It is not just if the TSH is high, throw in some T4 medication and send you on your way. It is not this simple! I will argue that until the day I die!! You must be with that expert that understands the different combinations of lab values and can pair that up with your symptoms to best treat you with the proper medication and dose.
